There are many examples of “right brain” approaches to inspiring change in others. Whilst the use of visual art in the world of “change & sustainability” has started … I think we need plenty more of it. If you read A Whole New Mind by Dan Pink you’ll see why it should be core business for everyone. Castlemaine (in Victoria) is a leading community in finding solutions to climate change. The Mount Alexander Sustainability Group is a big part of this change … AND … Castlemaine is blessed with a healthy mix of artists, musicians and authors … all adept …

This 4 minute TED talk by Alisia Miller shines another light on the power of Web 2.0 (incl. Blogs and social networks). I have been subscribed to “Do the Green Thing” for 6 months now. Every so often they feature some home-grown videos about people doing the green thing. Every so often they focus on solutions (as opposed to the problems). Videos like these are an exceptional resource for sustainability educators at schools and in community projects. They also have a Blog here. I will post the better videos as they come through … stay tuned. Here are 2 of my favorites: Oliver Heath on the power of recycling Want to get Teenagers to take shorter showers?! Impossible you say! This short …
