I am frustrated with my apathy … and the apathy of those around me in relation to the big challenges of our time. Climate change, social justice and inequality are just a few. As we go about our normal lives, the Chinese tanker Shen Neng is grounded on a reef 40 kilometres to the  Northeast of Heron Island. We are talking about oil impacting one of the most pristine coral reefs on the planet. Viv McWaters and I run a training program we call ‘Insanely Great Slideshow Presentations‘. It was fun to design and we have had great feedback from participants – the best feedback is when you see people using the new ‘zen’ approach to slide design and story in their next presentation! I have been playing with an online platform known as Prezi. In the early days it was clunky and I stopped using it for some reason. Saturday, March 27th was a huge day in Victoria. The F1 Grand Prix was on, the Melbourne Comedy Festival kicked off, Apollo Bay Music Festival and the global movement Earth Hour coincided.
